The buyer is responsible for performing any and all due diligence BEFORE placing bids on any items.
It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to make any pertinent condition inquiries to the seller prior to bidding. Once the buyer wins the item the buyer is legally obligated to buy the item without any further inquiries or contestations.
All items are sold as-is, where-is. While CTES try their best to list any damage, repairs or restorations the absence of these descriptions or condition must not be taken to imply the lot is in perfect condition. Many of the items sold by CTES are antique, vintage or used. You should expect signs of wear consistent with age.
CTES may offer preview inspections for the sole purpose of allowing buyers the opportunity for personal inspection before placing bids, but are not required to do so. Condition reports may also be available depending on, and at the sole discretion of CTES. If you have any doubts about any items offered by CTES be sure to reach out directly to us BEFORE bidding on-line or purchasing in person. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS, CREDIT, OR EXCHANGE.
A bid placed by buyer/bidder shall be conclusive proof that the buyer/bidder read and is acquainted with the CTES terms and conditions of sale and agree to be bound by such terms and conditions prior to placing any bid or purchase with CTES.
Buyers must be very careful in placing bids, as once their amount is entered it is not retractable.
For an online auction a buyer’s premium of typically 18% is added to the buyer’s purchase price.
All sales are subject to appropriate sales tax in the state in which the sale is held. Tax exempt buyers must provide their appropriate sales tax exemption certificate prior to the end of sale.
Successful buyers must pick up their items at the designated location within the assigned time frame, as well as present a valid form of identification and signature to obtain the item.
If you have any doubts about picking up your auction winnings at the designated sale location during the designated sale times, DO NOT BID.
Item is forfeited if pick up is not made during designated times unless alternate arrangement has been made. Arrangements will be at the sole discretion of CTES and may be subject to additional transport fees payable to CTES.
We offer in-house shipping for small to mid-size items which may incur a packing fee. We will transport your items to our shipping partner for a minimum of $25.00 transfer fee.
WE DO NOT TRANSFER FURNITURE AND CANNOT REFUND PURCHASES THAT ARE INELIGIBLE FOR SHIPPING OR TRANSFER BY OUR SHIPPING PARTNER.
You must collect your item at the prearranged date and time. If you cannot do so, the item will be forfeited. NO REFUNDS.

Offensive items;
Alcohol and tobacco;
Prohibited substances;
Post Civil War firearms and/or destructive items;
Hazardous or/radioactive material;
Services and “alternative currencies”;
Misrepresented or stolen Native American/American Indian antiquities, artifacts, arts and crafts;
Motor Vehicles without clean title

CTES may terminate, change, suspend, add to, or discontinue any aspect of our services/offerings at anytime, within our discretion and without any liability to any user.
We may restrict, suspend or terminate buyer.
